Overview

Dylan Hoke is a trial attorney whose practice focuses on admiralty and maritime, catastrophic personal injury, as well as complex commercial litigation throughout the Gulf Coast and beyond. A Texas Gulf Coast native, he brings firsthand knowledge of the maritime and oil and gas industries to his practice. Having grown up in a family shaped by shipping, offshore operations, and energy production, he understands the practical realities of his clients’ businesses and incorporates that perspective into his legal strategy of each case.

He regularly represents vessel owners, managers, operators, P&I clubs and marine insurers in marine casualty losses and contract disputes including collisions, allisions, cargo damage and loss, charter party disputes, regulatory and environmental matters, oil and hazardous materials pollution, and catastrophic personal injury. In addition to his maritime and personal injury dockets, Dylan also handles complex commercial litigation involving contractual disputes, indemnity and insurance issues, and other high-exposure business conflicts.

Known for his strategic, results-driven approach, Dylan has handled cases in both state and federal courts and is prepared to take cases through trial when necessary. Whether defending against high-stakes injury claims or resolving intricate commercial disputes, his clients value his responsiveness, industry knowledge, and ability to translate complex legal issues into compelling courtroom arguments.

In addition to his litigation practice, Dylan is a key member of the Firm’s Emergency Response Team. He regularly attends vessels and incident scenes to assist clients in the immediate aftermath of a casualty. From coordinating investigations and preserving critical evidence, to advising on regulatory reporting and risk management, he provides prompt and effective counsel during critical moments.
