Overview

Bradley G. Ertl is an Associate in our Houston office.

A member of the firm’s founding group, Bradley began his career in defense work before branching out and gaining valuable experience on the plaintiff’s side of the docket. Now back on the defense, clients are once again excited to work with Ertl and have transferred their dockets to him for proper case management.

A Texas transplant, Bradley pursued and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and Political Science while minoring in Legal Studies from Sam Houston State University in 2016. An accomplished academic, he made the Dean’s List in each of the 10 semesters of his undergraduate career and graduated Magna Cum Laude. Following his undergraduate career, Ertl began his legal academic career at South Texas College of Law where he excelled in the school’s Mock Trial Advocacy Program. While at South Texas, Ertl competed in several Mock Trial competitions – travelling throughout the United States for these competitions. A successful Advocate, Ertl was honored with Gerald T. Treece’s Dean’s Outstanding Advocate Award and was inducted into the Order of Barristers. Following law school graduation, Ertl was asked to serve as an Adjunct Professor for South Texas’s Mock Trial Litigation course and as a Mock Trial Coach for nearly a dozen Mock Trial teams.

Ertl is licensed by the State Bar of Texas and the State Bar of Wisconsin and is admitted to practice law in the United States Courts for the Northern, Southern, and Eastern Districts of Texas and has been admitted to practice pro hac vice in multiple other federal district courts.

A self-described “fearless competitor,” he leans on his experience from both sides of the docket in advocating for those he represents.
